Moradin

Lawful Good deity

Moradin is the god of creation and patron of artisans, especially miners and smiths. He carved the mountains from primordial earth and is the guardian and protector of the hearth and the family. Dwarves from all walks of life follow him. He demands these behavoirs from his followers:

  • Meet adversity with stoicism and tenacity.
  • Demonstrate loyalty to your family, your clan, your leaders, and your people.
  • Strie to make your mark on the world, a lasting legacy. To amke something that lasts is the highest good, whether you are smith working at a forge or a ruler building a dynasty.

During the era of Vordil, the faith of Moradin was practically stamped out. The dwarven people, forced into labor, nearly lost their entire culture. After reclaiming their freedom, the dwarves of Stonehearth established his worship as mandatory. No other gods are recognized in Stonehearth. From a new centralized location, Moradin’s faith has begun to spread throughout Kordil once again.
